“Jim Henson’s Fantastic World”, in association with the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition, opened at the Arizona Museum for Youth. The purpose of this incredible exhibit was not only to showcase the talents of the talented Mr. Henson, but to ultimately encourage children to explore their creative side and inspire them to become future artists.

Starbucks and the Basha Library in Chandler, Arizona, offer fun for local teens. The Grind, a library sponsored program, brings teens together with a fun open-mic program, which runs from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the last Friday of the month encouraging music and poetry. Free Starbucks coffee is on hand as well.
