Buckskin Mountain State Park, located 12 miles north of Parker on Arizona Highway 95, is another one of the state’s most scenic locales. Spectacular views of the river and surrounding mountain ranges are available from any number of hiking trails and campsites.

If you have a large family, there may not be a better outdoors spot for a picnic or gathering than Kiwanis Park. Set aside from the playing fields, just over the hill from the lake, are a pair of covered tables. Each table holds 20 people with a six foot BBQ grill right there for use! How's that for hosting your large family.
